Program Structure

The program includes:

- 40 hours of online didactic instruction - 160 hours of supervised clinical experience - Review of current nursing practice, standards, and Georgia Board of Nursing rules - Skills and competency development - Clinical experience with an approved preceptor

The online didactic portion may begin at the beginning of each month after the student receives approval to proceed.

To be considered for the next month’s online start date, students must apply by the 15th of the preceding month. For example, a student wishing to begin in November should apply by October 15.

Clinical hours may begin only after the required clinical site, preceptor, and reentry plan have received applicable approval.
